My husband and I moved to Bozeman, Montana just over 7 years ago from Duluth, Minnesota. Duluth is one of my favorite places on earth, especially Park Point. Officially known as Minnesota Point, Park Point is a long narrow piece of land that stretches 7 miles into Lake Superior. It has beautiful sandy beaches, and quirky houses that line either side of it’s sand covered street.

About this time of year, I often dream of walking the beaches of Park Point on a warm summer’s day. Strolling the shore looking for beach glass with the wind in my hair and my toes in the chilly water sounds like perfection…
The love of Park Point is what inspired me to create this beach print a few years back.
So simple and serene, I tried to capture the peaceful beauty of this place.
As you can see from this Beach Cam link provided by a Bed & Breakfast on Park Point (attached below), the beach is waiting, and it’s fun to dream of warm sand and gently crashing waves as summer is just beginning!
