  1. Sarah, I really enjoyed the video! It really helps people see all the steps and work it takes to get to the finished piece of art. I’ve mostly printed on cards, so watching you line it up for a framed piece of art was very helpful! Would you mind sharing the material you use for carving? I use Blick Blue easy-to-Cut from Blick Art because the golden colored stuff I got from them was crumbly and so frustrating to carve. Thank you!

    • Hi Lana,
Thanks so much for your interest in my work!
I get the gold linoleum from Daniel Smith Art Supplies, but I’m guessing it’s probably the same stuff you’ve used from Blick. It gets easier to work with once it heats up a bit. You can heat it with a hair dryer, lamp, or even in the microwave for a few seconds, but usually just your body heat from working with it makes it easier to cut. It won’t be as smooth and flexible as the Easy Cut stuff, but I haven’t worked with that much.
Best of luck, and happy printing!
      Sarah
